Set of six early Biedermeier chairs made of ash wood, featuring chinoiserie influences evident in the openwork design of the backrests. The frames have been expertly restored and hand-polished, enhancing the natural grain of the wood. The seats are upholstered in a plain base fabric. Provenance: Altenburg Residence Palace. The undersides of the chairs are marked with inventory numbers, attesting to their documented origin.
