Pair of partly gilt Brûle-Parfum urns, attributed to Claude Gallé, standing on grey marble bases with Hermes mascarons. The urns are decorated with a gilt relief wall depicting dancing Maenads. The lid and the rim show ajour work. The urns come from the collection of Thurn & Taxis, St. Emmeran. A similar pair can be found in Pavlovsk.
