Desk with an adjustable top and a screw thread to adjust the height of the writing surface. The top is upholstered in a blue-ground fabric with gold laurel wreaths and bees. The mahogany veneered table rests on bifurcated legs with gold patinated acanthus leaves and a smooth central strut. The desk has two drawers and has been hand polished and professionally restored.
