Life-size terracotta statue depicting a Vestal Virgin or temple attendant in classical attire, standing next to a column bearing an oil flame. In her left hand, she holds an elaborately modeled handled vessel used to sustain the sacred fire.

The finely detailed column rests on three sculpted lion’s paw feet. The statue stands on an oval reinforced base. An impressive historicist work from the second half of the 19th century, notable for its refined detailing and commanding presence.

The statue shows old restorations.
