Decorative amphora in dark red porphyry with light speckling. The ovoid body is flanked by two gilt-bronze satyr masks with raised, curved horns that also serve as handles. The lower part of the body is decorated with gilt-bronze foliate mounts. The amphora rests on a molded foot and a square gilt-bronze base.
