Exceptional pair of Viscontea pendant lights designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos, Italy. The sculptural lamps feature a delicate metal framework covered with the characteristic Cocoon resin material. The translucent membrane stretches across the structure like a fine skin, emphasizing the organic ribbed construction. When illuminated, the Cocoon material produces a particularly soft, warm and diffused light. The lamps are in beautiful vintage condition with age-related patina.
