Pair of Chrome-Plated Stools, Italy, Late 20th Century

Pair of Italian stools with chrome-plated metal frames, late 20th Century. The stools are distinguished by their slender construction of curved steel tubing. The sculptural frames rest on two parallel runners and support the upholstered seats. Cylindrical armrests on either side complement the clean, geometric design. The slightly curved seats are upholstered in textured yellow fabric. The combination of chrome-plated metal and colorful upholstery gives the stools their distinctive character.
