Large pyramidal mantel clock in a walnut case with a round bezel with brass surround and an enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes. The lower section features a stylized arch with a mirrored panel. Above is an inlaid depiction of a Vestal Virgin with an eternal flame on a black ground. The rounded upper section features a velarium motif with a running dog frieze below. The clockwork was replaced at a later date.
