Konstantin Stoitzner was born in 1863 in Mährisch Chrostau (now Czech Republic) and died in Vienna in 1934. The son of a botanist, he specialized in genre scenes, floral still lifes, and landscape painting. From 1914 to 1923 he served as head of the Austrian Artists’ Association.
