Fragment of a Bacchant with Wineskin, 17th/18th Century

Small marble sculpture preserved in fragmentary condition and mounted on a modern stone cube base. The surviving torso depicts a robust figure with loosely draped cloth. The figure holds a rounded object, likely a wineskin, suggesting an interpretation as a Bacchant, a follower of Dionysus/Bacchus.
