Dutch four-drawer Baroque-style chest in trapezoidal form, featuring the characteristic serpentine front and sides, carved claw feet, and rocaille decorations on the curved apron. The drawer fronts are adorned with chiseled, openwork brass fittings. The top is also intricately shaped. The chest, with four drawers of varying heights, is veneered in walnut. The pilasters and crosspieces are profiled in design.
