Partially gilt bronze jardinière raised on a quatrefoil base with a fluted front, a gadrooned waisted foot, and an oval bowl with swan-neck handles. The body is decorated with a continuous relief depicting a procession of putti in Bacchic celebration. A comparable model, executed entirely in bronze, bears the stamp “Eug. Cornu Paris” on the base. No such stamp is present on this example.
