An elegant Baroque secretary cabinet from Saxony, crafted in the mid-18th century. The lower section consists of a three-drawer commode with a curved apron and S-shaped legs. Above, the slant-front desk rests on pull-out side supports. Inside, it reveals ten small drawers and a central tabernacle compartment. The two-door mirrored upper section is crowned with an intricately shaped, broken pediment. The fire-gilded bronze fittings are designed in an asymmetrical Rococo style, adding a refined touch. The secretary is veneered in walnut with delicate string inlays, meticulously restored, and hand-polished.
