SOLD

SKU: 039-1157

Gold-patinated gueridon based on a design by Karl Friedrich Schinkel with a three-legged stand, inspired by the tripods of the Herculaneum. The shaft is fluted and ends in three bird-like arms with claws that support the round table top and grip the rounded edge of the table. The table top is inlaid with different, multi-coloured types of stone using the pietra dura technique.
