Elegant neoclassical two-drawer chest of drawers from Italy, made around 1800. The chest of drawers stands on square pointed legs with brass sabots and has a curved frame. The veneer pattern is impressive with its dynamic interplay of geometric elements and mirrored patterns, accentuated by fine band inlays. The red and white marble top with a simple hollow moulding forms a noble finish. The chest of drawers is fitted with high-quality bronze fittings and the corners of the body are slightly accentuated.
