Case: Roentgen manufacture, Neuwied, influenced by Chippendale, mahogany on oak, engraved with the signature on the left: ‘Roentgen’, the signature on the right: ‘Neuwied’.

Dimensions: 277 cm high, 52 cm wide, 39 cm deep.

Enamelled dial with signature: ‘KINZING / A NEUWIED’, gilt brass hands for hours and minutes, second hand missing, melody scale with the designations: ‘Andante, Menuet, Polonaise, Allegro, Lied’, flute mechanism missing.

Provenance: formerly from the Comte de Salverte collection, Château Ray-sur-Saône.
