Mahogany, fruitwood, veneered, polished, brass, glass, metal, enamel France/Spain, 19th century Case inscribed in marquetry ‘Por Teodoro Pelz – Ano De 1752’ Dial inscribed ‘Marsal à Castres’. Brass movement, weight driven with 2 weights. Bell strikes every half-hour, pendulum suspension, large lyre pendulum with 9 rods. Molded brass plate with drawn-in tympanum depicting the grape harvest, white enamel dial with Roman hour-markers, outer minute ring with pierced brass hands. High-rectangular wooden case on a box-shaped plinth with four ball feet. Linear middle section with curved glazing. Glazed hood with protruding ledge and arched pediment. Sides with parqueted roll shutters. Front with delicate stringing and marquetry in the form of stars and ornaments. With winding key. HxWxD: 96,5x21,7x12 inches
