Pocket watch movement in fire-gilded bronze. Above the rectangular case on paw feet stretches a fully sculptured female figure carrying the round pocket watch movement resting on her head. The round watch case is crowned by a bird of prey curiously looking down. With surrounding floral and figural decoration and diamond-shaped engraving on the plate. Verso with engraving "Meadoros Liverpool N. 2740".

Beautiful patina and rubbing due to age.
