Depiction of a fast carriage ride in front of an idyllic landscape scenery of southern Germany with hunting dogs and two hunters bringing home their killed stag and some hares from the hunt. Bach was a genre and landscape painter who, among other things, maintained a close relationship with Carl Spitzweg. In a gold patinated wooden frame. Monogrammed AB at lower right and dated 1851.
