Elegant three-legged side table in kidney-shaped form (à Rognon), crafted in France in the late 19th century. The body features a discreet drawer and stands on tall, curved S-shaped legs adorned with finely carved foliate motifs. The surface is richly decorated with floral marquetry in walnut and burl veneer, depicting blossoms and winding foliage. The tabletop is framed by a subtle raised edge. A paper label on the underside reads: “Son. Ex. La Comtesse Toll,” indicating provenance from a Countess of the noble Toll family—various branches of which were elevated to the rank of Count during the mid-19th century.
