At the center appears an Aesculapian staff, accompanied by a winged helmet of Hermes set against crossed sheaves of wheat. The side supports are formed as volutes terminating in lion’s paw feet. The apron is decorated with additional lion-head protomes and stucco ornament bands. The console is topped with a white marble slab with grey veining and rests on a green-painted base, likely later.
