Striking aquagravure by Dutch-Belgian artist Bram Bogart, created in the 1990s. Executed on papier-mâché, the piece features Bogart’s signature impasto technique with bold geometric abstraction in black, white, blue, and rust tones.

Signed in the lower right, the work reflects Bogart’s later period, in which he pushed the limits of painting through heavily textured surfaces and sculptural materiality.
