Two-door bar cabinet from the early 20th century, richly decorated with Chinese lacquer painting. The doors and drawers are embellished with finely wrought, gilded scenes of courtly life and landscapes, embedded in elegant frames. The composition shows typical elements of chinoiserie, including architecture, figures in courtly dress, as well as floral motifs and decorative medallions. The interior of the cabinet is mirrored and illuminated.
