Elegant secrétaire à abattant from the late Louis XVI period, featuring two lower drawers, a flat drop-front writing surface, and a top drawer beneath a grey stone top. The body is veneered in mahogany and walnut, with refined marquetry in plaited ribbon motifs and inlaid leaf patterns on the chamfered corners and upper drawer.
Disc-shaped brass mounts with ribbon details highlight the piece’s neoclassical style. The interior includes a deep compartment and three wide drawers, while the writing surface is covered in brown leather with a gold-tooled border. Expertly restored and hand-polished.
