Square Photograph from the renowned “Liquids” series by Ortwin Klipp, a body of work the artist has been developing continuously since 1999. In this long-term series of works, pure water surfaces are photographed, sometimes in close-up, and localized. Each location appears highly individual, with its own unique water and light qualities, and has its own recognizable character. LIQUIDS 231 was created in the historic Speicherstadt district of Hamburg and is characterized by its strong sense of atmosphere, clarity of composition, and subtle interplay between structure and reflection. The photograph is presented behind glass in a high-quality studio frame. Image size: 40 × 40 cm. Ortwin Klipp (born 1977) is a German graphic designer and artist.
