Large two-door cabinet with a classically austere, rectilinear body. The front features three recessed panels per door, with two additional panels on each side. Crafted from mahogany veneer over a firwood core, the piece exhibits clear, balanced proportions and restrained neoclassical detailing—attributes consistent with the work of architect Georg Ludwig Friedrich Laves (*1788–†1864), to whom this cabinet is attributed. An original inventory label is affixed to the right pilaster: Provenance: Royal Palace of Herrenhausen, western wing, Room No. 7 (?), Inventory No. 63.
