French commode with three drawers in the Transitional style, combining elements of Louis XV and Louis XVI. Crafted in walnut with lighter cherrywood inlays to the front. The commode rests on gently curved, s-shaped legs, with the apron sweeping down in the center. Fine ormolu mounts adorn the apron, front, and corners. A grey-and-white veined marble top completes the piece. Handles cast in the form of festoons and medallions. Restored and hand-polished.
