Significant neoclassical cylinder secretary resting on six tapered square legs, canted at the corners. The lower commode section, with two drawers, projects slightly in a risalit form and is adorned with circular porcelain plaques featuring polychrome floral bouquets and finely cast brass mounts. A pull-out writing surface with round knobs activates the opening of the cylinder, revealing an elaborately fitted interior with small drawers and a central lockable compartment.
The two-door upper section is structured by flanking pilasters and additional drawers. Crowning the piece is an integrated clock with an enameled dial and Roman numerals, housed in an arched case adorned with a central urn, flanked by finials and laurel festoons.
A striking inlaid star motif embellishes the cylinder front, while the rest of the surface features intricate geometric marquetry and walnut burl veneer. This remarkable desk is a masterful synthesis of fine cabinetmaking and horological precision from the late 18th century.
