Pair of Biedermeier chests of drawers with three drawers. The body of the chests is veneered in mahogany and polished by hand. The top drawer shows marquetry work in the form of tendrils and mythical creatures in light wood. The middle drawer is accentuated by a segmental arch and is deeper than the other two drawers. The chests stand on square pointed feet and are accentuated in the centre of the frame by a board with further marquetry work. The interior of the top drawers is very finely designed with various small compartments with removable lids and a hinged mirror showing inlay work in the form of a bouquet of flowers.
